Blaise Glendevon Posted November 17 Posted November 17 I'm crowdsourcing this, because I'm annoyed. Earlier this week, I started getting a message that I couldn't log in on Marketplace because my password is incorrect. The same password that I used to log in on 3 separate viewers and this forum. Today, I got the same message on the support portal and the main Second Life webpage. However, I'm still logged on this forum with that same password andalso my viewer. Where do I direct my grievance? 1
Love Zhaoying Posted November 17 Posted November 17 I would be afraid that it's some kind of phishing..
animats Posted November 17 Posted November 17 If you've been the victim of fraud, contact our fraud hotline at 800 860 6990. Then, talk about it. Post your experience to forums, blogs and chat. Tell others about who it was and how it happened. That's what the official Second Life Wiki says. Does that phone number answer?

Blaise Glendevon Posted November 17 Author Posted November 17 (edited) It gets weirder. I reset my password, in case this was a breach. I can now log in under a secondary google profile to Marketplace, Support, and my dashboard with the new password. I can't log in with my primary google profile on Chrome to any of these things. Firestorm Viewer and SL Viewer still work as normal. Edited to Add: I bit the bullet and filled out a support ticket. LOL. Edited November 18 by Blaise Glendevon 1
belindacarson Posted November 18 Posted November 18 (edited) Make sure you know your secret question and answer too. This will help support verify you faster if any queries. Also I guess you've ran a virus scan as a precaution? Edited November 18 by belindacarson

Blaise Glendevon Posted November 18 Author Posted November 18 And a further update. I swapped to Firefox, and am having zero login issues. LOL. I'm keeping my ticket open in case there is really something weird going on, tho. 1
