Love Zhaoying Posted November 16 Posted November 16 I see several posts starting yesterday about issues with the Forum and some information being "doubled" (profile thumbnails), etc. This does NOT happen for me and most others so far, in "Dark" theme. I wish I knew who to page on this. @Quartz Mole "Default" theme: "Dark" theme: 2 2
Phil Deakins Posted November 16 Posted November 16 I'm not seeing it at all, and I'm in the default theme. But I'm using Chromium (based on Chrome) on a Raspberry Pi.

I know a recent manufacturer's update to the forum software contained a few surprises, and this may be one of them. I'll try to make sure the right person sees your post, but please file a feedback report too, so it's trackable. 4 1

I did file a "Uncategorized feedback post", but was flummoxed on how to find the right category for "support tickets". (I can't see the Feedback details now, so don't know if I filed it in the right place since "Marketplace" and "Uncategorized" are the choices. Maybe I did! 🙂 https://feedback.secondlife.com/feature-requests/p/forums-are-doubling-information-for-many-users I knew that paging you would get good "advice"! Sorry, it seemed at first that submitting a "ticket" was the right way to go. Edited November 16 by Love Zhaoying 1 1

Sorry, it seemed at first that submitting a "ticket" was the right way to go. I think it should probably have been filed as a Web/Marketplace bug report, not a Feature Request, but I'm sure someone will move it to the right section. I've replied to it, adding a link to the main thread in General Discussion. 1 1

JacksonBollock Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Just in case this is useful here too (sorry don't know how to quote properly from another thread) - although sounds like it's all nicely in hand already I've had a quck look. The thing thats stands out is the dark theme has css containing this @media (min-width: 768px) { .ipsApp .ipsResponsive_showPhone { display:none !important; } } The standard theme does not seem to have this implemented and hence at 768px the ipsResponsive_showPhone is not overridden to display:none. The duplication in the DOM arises here. <div class="cAuthorPane_mobile ipsResponsive_showPhone"> <div class="cAuthorPane_photo"> <div class="cAuthorPane_photoWrap">..... I can't be bothered investigating any more, but it's pretty straight forward and I'm sure LL have people who spotted this already. But anyone else raising an issue - stick this in, it might help. 1
Eddy Vortex Posted November 17 Posted November 17 (edited) This is what I’m seeing when trying to read the forum on mobile. Portrait & landscape mode. Unreadable. I Edited November 17 by Eddy Vortex Adding screenshots on a phone is hard. 1

Kimmi Zehetbauer Posted November 18 Posted November 18 I saw something just now on another Invision board and seems a board update borked things up. 1

Henri Beauchamp Posted November 19 Posted November 19 Yes, I've also been seeing the double-profile-photo-bubbles for the past few days. Also seeing a double ”Start new topic” button at the forum root page:
