Bavid Dailey Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Pretty sure I know the answer, but I ask anyway, before I write a feature request Is there way to handle/deal with/access aling cards in LSL? I imagine an object with a script and number of calling cards that uses the existence of a card to grant rights to certain avatars - an object with it's own group. Not possible I am 99% sure.
Rolig Loon Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Here are your possible inventory types: Notice the conspicuous absence of Calling Cards. You can't put one into an object's inventory. 1
Profaitchikenz Haiku Posted November 15 Posted November 15 The best I can think of to meet the OP's requirements would be notecards with some descriptive text inside and possibly landmarks, and instructions to use the last-owner or creator profile to access them should they want to send IM's or send return notecards back to the person who the OP wished to preset the calling card for.

You can also just attach your calling card into the contents of a notecard.

N.B. if you do this, scripts can't read the notecard. Quote https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlGetNotecardLine If notecard contains embedded inventory items (such as textures and landmarks), EOF will be returned, regardless of the line requested. 1
