Saving an image into your inventory has always cost L$10, or at least for as long as I can remember. The higher cost is for 2k images. You should still be able to upload a 1k image for L$10. 4 1

That's why most of us are using Gyazo, instagram and other photosharing sites. 1

If you don't think an image at higher resolution is worth 40L, you have never done cartography before. It's almost impossible to make anything with legible print, without creating a multi-face mesh surface to put multiple 1k textures on. 2k helps a lot with that. I still think 2k textures will make the lag insufferable, but as a cartographer, I do appreciate 2k textures. 1 1
AmeliaJ08 Posted September 28 Posted September 28 (edited) If you don't want to pay the higher price don't upload large images that cost the higher price. Edited September 28 by AmeliaJ08 2
Salt Peppermint Posted September 28 Posted September 28 You need to make sure to downsize your images to 1024 before upload. Before the viewer would do that for you but now you have a choice to upload 2048 images as well. So if you want to keep the cost at 10LS, you still can just downsize to 1024Â 1
Rowan Amore Posted September 28 Posted September 28 The issue is, I normally take pictures fairly large and save to disk. When I change to Save to Inventory, it now shows the 40L charge unless you go back to save to disk and choose a smaller size. Then it will save to inventory for 10L.  Without changing the Save to Disk size... Change the size... Then it will show the 10L upload fee again...  4
