Yes, certain lighting makes the ocean radioactive.

Just like skies, PBR makes all the water look different.

I dont see the sea blue but white. How can I fix that?

Not good for a mermaidia!   ;0

This happened to me too.. the ultra-white water disappeared when I enabled the setting for water transparency in our graphics preferences.  Apparently setting my graphics too low had disabled it.

The water that had the problem was mostly transparency with little texture.

Hi again! It seems like the problem persist. I'm gonna try to explain a little more whats going on:

I've been using FireStorm Viewer until yesterday, when the manteinence came in. and this problem started. I just can't see the texture of the water, the colors. I used the Sl Viewer, and Firestorm,, and the problem persists in both.

I'll leave a ss of my Setting in the SL Viewer, which sometimes the textures load, but when I teleport back, it doesnt do it again.

I also checked my Graphic Card (Nvidia Geforced RTX 3060), its working fine, all updated to the date. I also have my energy setting in the hightets. Any clue what can be?

Thank you in advance.

I fixed it, thank you very much.

Also, when I close and open the viewer, it loads. But just on SL viewer, and just a few teleports, until it doesnt do it again.

There's a bug that's been a problem even before PBR and these updates -- when we arrive on a new sim the water existing on the previous sim manifests. So maybe this is what's happening for you. I'm not sure there's anything that you can do to fix that though I've tried toggling back and forth between personal environmental settings and shared ones as suggested, but no luck. Eventually the correct water settings return.

I wish they would fix the water, so it looked like it did before pbr. I've been trying to do my sim for fall and just can't do it because the water looks horrible. It's like we've gone back in sl 15 years.

Try some Scarlet Creative PBR water -- it's great!  Very transparent and just what I need for my vast underwater garden as some waters make it way too dark under the water and look weird from the top too.  It's free!

Let Grampa put in his teeth and tell you a story.

Actually, Grampa is not going to put his teeth in today. He's tired.

*Stares out into the middle distance on the Linden sea*.

(Grampa is actually part blind from staring out at the Linden sea for too long).

(Grampa actually keeps his draw distance down to 64).

My suggestion is to go indoors and not look at the sea anymore.

And be careful if you look through telescopes for too long, strange things happen to telescope-starers :) *
