Best to stick with the free rod and buy regular worms. I like Virtual fishing much better than Fish Hunt and the kit is free on MP! Other than that... you could always collect the coins in gold hunt for extra lindens aswell to help with worm costs. Magic worms I never did use as I don't think they are worth it. I always used to use small worms for most profit. I was buying cans of 100 worms off people for 8L$ per can. It is really good that the players can sell worms cheap in cans to each other.
