Anneliese Wolfenhaut Posted September 3 Posted September 3 I have the music stream on all shared parcels set to a particular station. Several times it has changed and I'm not sure how. Only the co-owners and I have access to the stream, and it's not us who are changing it. I checked all the group roles, and only the owners can change the music stream. Is there something I'm missing? Has this happened to anyone else?
Qie Niangao Posted September 3 Posted September 3 This may be obvious, but just in case: It's not only the owners themselves who get permission to change the stream, but also any scripts they own. So if somebody with land permissions has an object that includes a "land radio" script—even if they don't realize it—that script can change the stream, and may default to being operable by anybody. I don't think there's any way to track who/what changes the parcel audio. One can turn on beacons and hunt for objects containing any script, but that's a needle-in-a-haystack search, especially since there's no way to know what any specific script might do. 1
Ingrid Ingersoll Posted September 10 Posted September 10 There have been several issues today about strange music in sl. Obvs a haunting.
