Nobody can begin to answer an open-ended question like this without more information about exactly what kind of trouble you are having and what you have already tried.  Since you are having trouble with the Firestorm viewer, I suggest reading relevant sections of their wiki ( https://wiki.firestormviewer.org/firestorm_troubleshooting ) and then, if necessary, contacting their support people ( https://wiki.firestormviewer.org/getting_help ).

what are your settings? 

lowering those will be in most cases already a improvement.
Also your systemspecs are quite important to see if it's possible to run SL smoothly.
