Hello everyone! First I want to say that it's nice to have time in my life once again to enjoy SL.

I'm returning after quite a few years (maybe 6) away and it seems that a lot of the shapes and mesh avatar stuff I was using isnt fitting. I've tries to reset my skeleton and even adjusting the shape manually doesn't seem to be fixing some issues. Have there been so many updates that my old stuff just isn't good anymore or is there something I can do to make everything fit again??

Welcome back, Drako!

There have been numerous updates and changes to SL, but nothing systemic that should be impacting on shapes and mesh bodies or heads.

Can you provide some details on what it is that you're trying to wear?

ETA: A screen shot of the "Worn" tab in your inventory would be most useful!

Thanks for the response!

I was rather keen on using the internal wardrobe system as it seemed so easy. This image ive provided is what happens when I right click, replace current outfit - My shape is wrong. arms tucked in and I seem neck-less.  It effects other stuff too. If I put on a particular alien avi I have it stretches my neck out so bad that changing shapes doesn't correct it. *shrugs*

Could try the Undeform Avatar or Reset Skeleton under the Avatar Appearance.

Well, one issue is of course that you appear to be using an in-viewer pose for editing appearance. When you click save, and start using your AO or another animation again, some of those issues might go away?

Fixed - Teleporting around for some reason fixed the issue

Oh! Well, there you are! It's all good now then??

It might be, as I say above, that the edit appearance pose was messing with you (it's designed for human shapes). Or that TPing somewhere reset everything, as it sometimes does (usually for the worse, but hey, why complain?)

I'm not sure about the LL viewer, which is what you appear to be using, but other viewers, such as Firestorm, allow you to avoid the standard "Pose avatar" poses that are applied when you edit appearance. It means you can use any animation or pose while editing shapes and appearance, which can be very useful.

I just want to ask, how did you put your look together here? This is impressive! Was it done for role-playing purposes?
