Red square surrounding home... how to remove it?

I've just moved (a few times) and found a nice spot. But... I now have this red square surrounding me. It floats just above the ground.

How do I get rid of it please?

Sometimes I feel like a noob. That worked.

Didn't occur to me because the couple of bits I missed in my clean-up and left behind when I abandoned my previous place were instantly returned to me. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. Plus it looked 'official', being exactly on the property boundary, and I couldn't select it in edit mode.

Perhaps a little sleuthing before returning it may have been informative. Possibly, the red box was a linked object whose root was on another parcel.

The only way to get rid of the Red Square is by building lots of nukes, for mutually assured destruction, and then engage in a long and dangerous cold war.

Just piping in  
Once parcels are released to residents you are safe to return that (sometimes red) box to us if found on your parcel. Its likely going back to either myself or to Abnor. 

We try to get those picked up before the regions go live but sometimes they get missed.

The mystery was a real nail-biter though.  Who knew there were "fake property lines" added by Moles?!?

That was part of the mystery... I couldn't seem to select it in Edit to check it out. Secret Mole stuff I guess... or I'm just incontinent incompetent... darn auto-uncorrect.

Maybe the "show others' objects" feature would have told you the owner?
