My account is on hold, which means it is being deleted.

I can still log in here, when does this forums account also get deleted?

on hold does not mean it gets deleted, it's "on hold" ..mostly to investigate something.

It came few days after I requested the deletion. Either way, I have deleted the associated e-mail account, as well as deleted an impossible to remember password, whatever happens, I am free from SL finally.

Regardless of whether your account is deactivated/deleted, your content in the forums will remain.

Maybe it can get deleted if the user lives in certain countries where the law says they can request deletion..?  But then wouldn't all threads get trashed with their comments..?

it will automatically disappear from the lists after a while
It will however ónly totally be deleted if you filed a gdpr request, the right to be forgotten, and deleted from all databases.
Normally accounts on SL deletion means chopping off passwords en logins, remove it from records, and let the account sleep on the servers, till the plug is pulled out.
That's why it's quite easy to recover deleted accounts.
