ok i recently upgraded from windows 7 - home premium to windows 7-professional and now i cant play

That should not have made a difference, but something else that was loaded at the same time may be giving you problems.  If your installation changed settings for a software firewall, for example, it could be blocking your access. 

I'm assuming that you have downloaded and re-installed the viewer you were using successfully before, but have you tried using a different viewer?  If you were using LL's current V2 viewer, for example, try the Firestorm beta -- or vice versa.
