Search Box doesn't load.

I'm having a problem with the search box. When I try to type in a person's name, or a place, I just get a black box. I'm using viewer 2.

I have the exact same thing. It was affecting my profile boxes as well. Change over to another viewer and have profiles now but no search box still. It sometimes opens for about 4 seconds and then goes again. I have checked all my plugins and cookies are enabled and they are. I have nothing else attatched to my pc... and I have scoured the forum for answers and I am still trying!

Would be great if someome knew how to fix it... it's very frustrating as I can travel to new places........
