Homestead rental payments

I've rented homesteads before, by paying a rental box on the homestead itself, either on the homestead, or at the landlord's in-world payment spot.

Now I'm wondering if there there landlords that you can rent a homestead from by paying through PayPal instead of paying their rental box in L$ in-world?

If yes, is it allowed? I suppose that LL are probably fine with it, as their piece of the cake is what the landlord pays them, but not sure if they'd see it as losing money from the end renter not exchanging their currency to L$ before paying the rental box; or would that be Tilia losing money then? Perhaps not important if one resident does it, but maybe if many do it?

And if yes, also, did anyone? Is it cheaper, as more comfortable for the landlord, or same, or even more expensive for some reason?

Zoha Islands does give the option, you can change it yourself into L$ or set up a paypal, with several options, weekly, monthly and i thought quarterly
can't see at them if it's cheaper, but they have a buy down program at the moment, can be interesting, in special for long term renters
