I'm using Alchemy Viewer (but I've also used the default SL viewer) and when I am using prim Media, like tv's things like that, the audio is CONSTANTLY skipping, like a broken CD. I've tried adjusting my bandwidth, but that hasn't helped. Does anybody know how to solve this issue? I'd really like to be able to use media again. Thank you.

Sounds like a stream problem.  Go to a couple different clubs, maybe check an in world movie theater.  If you are building, maybe throw something different on a prim.  If you get this problem everywhere, then check your computer.  Can you watch youtube videos and stream spotify, on a web browser?  If you can, then maybe it's the SL viewer.  I would go to preferences and tweak the Maximum Bandwidth setting (Maximum Bandwidth would be a great name for a rock band).  In Firestorm, it's in Prefs > Network & Files > Connection tab.

If none of that helps, then I don't know what to tell you.

MOAP, media on a prim, is essentially, a dumb idea. If you want to watch videos on Youtube/PornHub, log out of SL, and use a web browser, it's simpler and better.

The bandwidth setting in your viewer has exactly NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with the rate at which SL mesh/texture data is sent to your client over the web, never mind MOAP, which comes from someplace else on the web. NOTHING. It doesn't change the download speed on your net connection in anyway.

It's only for throttling the rate at which essential UDP handshaking packets are sent from server to client, set it too fast  (the usual mistake) and it slows things rezzing in. Leave it at a sensible value, say 500 to 1500, and then LEAVE IT ALONE.

Yeah, don't watch movies on Prim TV's. you are using your internet connection download bandwidth to stream the movie, AND stream SL, and you don't have enough for both to run smoothly.
