Banned Group Member

Hi. Thanks for reading this and thanks even more if you have an answer for me. I'm an admin for a small, but close knit group in SL, and we recently had a member have his account banned from SL by LL. He claims that it was over a billing issue, but some of us suspect it was a violation of the community standards. 

He recently made a new alt and is trying to come back to the group. When we asked him about this he said that LL told him they couldn't give him his account back but that he would be allowed to make a new account and come back. We asked to see a copy of that message (with the personally identifying information obscured of course) and he said that LL told him that he wasn't allowed to share that with anyone.

The whole thing sounds very suspicious to me. I guess my question is does any part of his story sound true to anyone here.

Thats a hilariously bad lie. You’re correct, you’re dealing with a very dodgy person and LL would never say that lol. Godspeed.

Edit: And if you’re unsure, you can always tell them you’re going to report them to LL just to ensure they’re allowed to make a second account

I read a lot of assumptions from your side, you don't know what happened, as you also don't know what LL told him.
It sounds a lot more that you don't WANT this person back and look for a reason.

People who post here more often know that LL doesn't like customer contacts being made public, so it would be totally possible what the other is saying.

I'm not sure what's more suspicious... your paranoia or his explanation ... there's reason to wonder about both.
