So not had this issue before but I AM fairly new to Blender.

I upload my mesh, no issues. I go to apply a texture to one of the faces (in this particular case it's like a galvanised metal texture) but it's just coming out like a single smooth colour. I figure the mesh is somehow stretching the image so that the detail is getting lost...?

Checking the UV maps and everything is unwrapped etc as you'd expect, so the texture should be hitting the faces correctly. I tried changed the texture to a photograph and again just getting  single smooth colour... I feel like I'm missing something obvious but like I said I've not come across it before.

I've tried rescaling the image of course and the colour sometimes changes shade but still no details...

Oh one last thing, when I select a problem face, it highlighted completely white, makes me thing it's the white crosshair, but im not sure. Maybe that detail will help anyone trying to assist though.

Any ideas that might point me in the right direction?

Thank you x

If your object has multiple UV maps, only the first UV map will be used in SL, the others are silently dropped on upload. You need to use the same UV map for all materials (overlapping islands is not a problem).
