Would You Rather: Second Life Edition

Time for a very standard forum game. Here's the rules:

1. First, answer the previous person's would you rather by selecting one of the options. You can explain further if you want

2. Then, add your own would you rather - typically a question with two equally bad options that the person must select one of, e.g. "would you rather have fingers for toes or toes for fingers". 

I'll start: Would you rather have a neighbor with nice landscaping that encroaches onto your land, or a neighbor with an eyesore of a build that sticks to property lines religiously?

I'd rather have the neighbor with the nice landscaping that encroaches onto my land. If it's nice enough, I could offer to allow them to extend it some more, into my parcel, and match my building to their style to have 1 continuous build in both parcels. I've done that before and it was a great experience.

Would you rather buy a product that has no demo, or a product that has a negative review with no explanation of what's wrong?

I'll take my chances on the no demo product. I've bought plenty of things no demo before and while I've regretted a few, some have been fine. It's a toss up, and if it's good, I can leave a nice review. 

Would you rather constantly get hit on by unattractive avatars of your preferred type/gender, or attractive avatars of a type/gender you're not into?

Product with no demo if I really liked the look of it.

Well, if I chose option 2 then no one would hit on me. So I'd rather get hit on by unattractive avatars of my preferred type/gender.

Would you rather organize a big messy inventory or read 60 pages of forum posts about a topic that do not interest you in the slightest?

It would surprise almost no one that I would rather choose the latter of the two choices!

By first gen, you mean Lara, Slink, those kinds of things? That's fine by me, I still use my Lara most days. 

Would you rather have a non-optional Sims style needs system where you have to sleep, eat, and go pee in SL, or have a limited number of teleports per day, with no ability to TP once they're used up?

I would rather a limited number of teleports, since I don't go much anyplace. (Those who continually lobby for "adult stuff" would probably add "being horny" to your list of "needs"..)

Would you rather be forced to login to the Welcome Hub, or an old chaotic "TeleHub" (whatever it's called)?

The "TeleHubs" are rather unpredictable and fun. I like them. So that's what I'd choose.

2048m. Keeps it interesting and lots of free entertainment. Its alot like watching a tweaker at work spout nonsense to passerbys.

Have to use a giant robot avatar for a week - not as an alt but on your main account?

Have to have 'gesture tourettes' for a week, like you're going 'hooo' and 'rrrrrrrugbaaa' etc. all the time and you can't stop?.

The halo 😇 - because it might be annoying, but I can say "It's not MY fault, they clicked it!"...but the tail is aggravating people who didn't try to engage with me, so more likely to get me kicked!

Would you rather:

Every teleport now costs 20L (no refund it you crash)...OR...every time you teleport, you have to watch a one-minute unskippable ad? 🤔

20L per teleport without question, anything is better than ads. I think almost anything that presented this option i would just pay to avoid ads. I think my gripe would still be that it has that "subscribe to premium to avoid ads" vibe that platforms like youtube have, but at some point they pull the rug from under you and you end up with ads on a platform you pay for anyway, like netflix.

I present, would you rather:

Deal with volumetric weather in your region which required you to say, shovel your virtual driveway of snow, or build with rain water drainage in mind?

or

Deal with realistic temperature management which required your avatar to regulate their body temperature to avoid hypothermia/hyperthermia?

   I do, to some extent, dress seasonally in SL .. But I wouldn't want to be bound by it. Besides, I like shovelling snow, and drain pipes are my second favourite kind after tobacco pipes (I mean, gargoyles are a thing!) - so I'm down for that.

   Would you rather .. That your EEP setting be permanently stuck to Phototools- No Light, or Midday?

Can't see anything in the no light setting unfortunately, so Midday it is.
