Where exactly can I get templates for SL clothing? Ive seached through the websight and cant find it

Ive seached everywhere for the SL templates but I cant find them. I really want to try making my own shirt using Photoshop so please help me.

if all you want to do is make a t-shirt http://www.robinwood.com has an excellent tutorial and psd t-shirt template http://www.robinwood.com/Catalog/Technical/SL-Tuts/SLPages/RSW-TShirt.html it's a photoshop file but if you have a program that opens up photoshop layered documents it should work apparently. i've worked with the template in the past had no problems saving as a tga file and uploading to SL but some templates you may need to save as png

You can also Google for them, one example would be to Google Chip Midnight Templates you will be able to download them.

If you are looking for "finished" clothing templates to buy where you can just add a layer of pattern etc, you can find them on the marketplace OR in world. I searched for "clothing templates" and found a ton.  If you use the Marketplace search I would suggest either filtering by "best selling" or "newest" to show the most popular and perhaps almost undiscovered ones.

 

The issue with full perm ready-made templates is that so many folks use them it is very difficult to have your items look different . So going with the Chip Midnight's and other old time BASIC templates will teach you more. It is a long process for most folks to get their skill levels up be competitive in the giant cog that is SL fashion. But if you love to draw, this may be the perfect spot for you!

As well as templates you can get sculpt maps from marketplace for various clothing shapes...make more interesting clothes that way.
