Well, it's extremely rude to stand at any landing point so...move?

If being in front of the actual application sign for five whole minutes while reading and filling out a lengthy notecard is now considered rude, then perhaps I should suggest they move the sign from being exactly at the LP.

Regardless, standing at any landing point is rude.  Take 2 steps in any direction.  You've been in SL long enough to know landing etiquette.

Yes, I've been here a good long time. Typically at clubs who are hiring, if someone is standing directly in front of a "We're Hiring" sign that gives notecards, you either get left alone for a bit to read said notecard or IM'd by a manager or member of staff. It's funny, that's what's happened at the other clubs I've visited tonight as well. Makes this sim stand out and not for a good reason.
