Arwyn Quandry Posted July 27 Posted July 27 Popular themes can be hard to grab. You have to wait for someone to either abandon theirs or for LL to build new ones. The best thing you can do is regularly check the available homes page and hope that one pops up. They do appear occasionally. 5

Exactly! That is how I got my current stilt home on water. It took about a week for one to free up and I got it immediately. YMMV. 4
Teresa Firelight Posted July 28 Posted July 28 At this very minute there is a Stilt on Water and a Stilt on Pier on the land page 3
Matthieu Quander Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Also, unless you are specifically looking for a stilt that is completely surrounded by water, there are several Stilt on Land homes available that are at least partially over water or directly on the coast. You may have to claim several before getting one of these, but they are out there. 2
Cindy Spicy Posted July 29 Author Posted July 29 Why are they not making more of these homes since they are in high demand?
Persephone Emerald Posted July 29 Posted July 29 There are only so many Moles and some may be on vacation right now. Lately their focus has been on 2048 m parcels, which of course pay LL more than 1024 m ones do. 1
Teresa Firelight Posted July 29 Posted July 29 That would be an LL management decision to make more OW and OP stilts, not a Mole decision. IDK why drives their decision process. I do agree that the OW and OP stilts are in high demand, but I suspect there are also other factors they look at. 2
Cindy Spicy Posted July 29 Author Posted July 29 Thanks everyone for the input, I am just frustrated waiting for the home I want. I feel it would be selfish for me to take a home I do not plan on living in while waiting for something to open up in case someone else would want the home I took just to wait. 3

Grab an on-Land Stilt and rez the style that you'll ultimately want in a different location - gives you time to work out your decorating ideas.... It's certainly not selfish, there are plenty of those available. Edited July 30 by Frigga Freidman 5 1
Cindy Spicy Posted July 30 Author Posted July 30 A house popped up and I grabbed it. Thanks for everyone instructing me about how to do this and I am happy at my new home 💋 17
