How can a sim owner, or anyone find all of your alts if you have never told anyone else about them? Wouldn't that be an illegal ability? Should i report it?

Technically, for them to know it wouldn't be a violation, but for them to reveal it would be.

There are a bunch of ways one emits evidence associating an in-world avatar with an IP address, and sharing an IP address in the same fortnight or so is reason to suspect those avatars may be alts of each other.

To make it a little harder for snoops to put the pieces together, don't enable parcel media, media-on-a-prim, nor parcel audio. For the moment, voice is a potential leak that should go away completely once WebRTC replaces Vivox (because the Lab will proxy all WebRTC connections, essentially a self-contained VPN).
