SL Hotspots

Hi all!

I just returned to Second Life after an extended hiatus and all of my old haunts are empty. Can you all give me the names of a few popular sims where I can hang out and meet new people? Thanks! :)

All of the sandboxes I've gone to have been empty. I've been sim hopping but most everything I find is either deserted or a sex-oriented sim that I'm not interested in. I just need a cozy spot full of people to chill at.

cant find place like that in SL, only music club maybe but it seems just idle avi park there or alts to increase traffic.

people are not really want to conmect inworld since everyone distrust each other, I think most are just play with their own stuff like dressing alone,

make their own sim and pretend the sim is alive, they live in their own small circle.

some are make stuff and their goal is to make you buy stuff from them or visiting their concert and earn tips.

noy want to lie its not much u can find in SL if you look for social interaction

Yeah, Second Life is a social media platform but it can be pretty antisocial at times. It didn't use to be that way though. Once upon a time, you could tp into just about any spot on SL and walk away with at least 5 new friends. Now meeting others is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I'll never understand why some people log into a program like SL just to stand around idle.

For music: Warehouse 21 (as mentioned by @Rowan Amore), Muddys, Fogbound. Muddys is PG rated as well so there's very little "meat market" vibe.

I took a gander at Warehouse 21 last night. There was a decent-sized crowd and someone in a fat suit doing cartwheels. Lol.  I'm familiar with Muddy's and Fogbound but it's been a while since I've visited either. Maybe I'll give them another look to see what the vibe is like.
