Some examples of my work:

Radd's Customs

Prices vary and are negotiable, I can be quite flexible depending on the requirements.

I'm offering personalized and individualized lessons in:

- Blender

The basics through to full 3D modelling of assets such as accessories, weapons, buildings, backdrops, booths, décor, furniture, plants, landscapes and landscaping items etc. How to create basic animations and poses. Basic rigging of clothing and accessories. Lighting, materials and texturing. The various optimizations and export best practices required for mesh in SL

- PBR Materials

How to create, edit and export PBR materials made in blender. More importantly how to upload them to SL and tweak them to your liking inworld.

- Photoshop

The basic operations through to advanced image editing, making and exporting face and body appliers for SL and how to properly use the various texture kits for bodies/heads. How to make branding for SL such as logos, advertisements and other pieces.

- Substance Painter

The basics and how to import mesh to start painting. How to import and add materials and manage them. Best practices for texture export and how to make them PBR ready and understanding light probes and mirrors inworld.

- Marvelous designer

The basics through to making clothing and accessories, décor such as bedding, pillows, curtains, draped fabrics. How to trace existing clothing patterns you have and how to export and optimize items.

I will also happily provide and introduce various assets to you to help along the way such as materials, blender addons, clothing patterns and more that were freely acquirable on the internet but I have gathered them conveniently and have found them to be a great help when teaching someone.

I have found a joy for teaching others how to create for second life and other virtual worlds. Yes you can learn from YouTube but some people prefer a personalized and custom tailored lesson(s) and continued free support from me, always happy to answer questions.

It's important for me to note that its all good and well to learn blender and start uploading to SL but there are many things that have to be known and accounted for eg; the mesh uploader in firestorm, a lot of this knowledge can be found around but some of it from what I've noticed is passed on from one creator to another.

Over the years I have streamlined my basic blender intro for program UI, modelling, texturing and exporting your first mesh to second life down to around 2 hours, though I am easily able to adapt and account for someone's learning style and adjust the pace so it's right for them.

The other programs mentioned are actually very simple to use and teach the UI as they only have specific functions, whereas blender has a world of different uses and a lot of buttons. During teaching I will be asking that you make along with me so you get familiar with the keyboard shortcuts as you go and generally by the first hour you will remember most of them.

Starting at $L4k per hour paid upfront through paypal or inworld if not (though I can be flexible and work within someone's budget if required) and conducted over discord via my screenshare. It's easier for me if the person can use voice along with me but that is not required, as long as you can listen and watch.

This knowledge is a valuable asset to have and will greatly benefit you over time. A common path I have been with people down is developing a brand for SL, making the branding for it down to fonts and color scheme, learning blender, making a few items and launching their store. Even what scripts you'll need and how to package it all for the end user.

To chat just message on facebook (Radd Core), discord @raddley or inworld via notecard to Radd Core
