WeFlossDaily Posted July 21 Posted July 21 She goes click-clack, click-kitty-clack as she walks across the sand . . . My Frand: PRB is all about realism. Me: I think I'm going to go talk to some animals. Idk if they're goats or pigs. I can't really tell. Sometimes SL is just like that. 1

Then the hips look too narrow so the hips have to widen a bit. Then the shoulders look too weak so that needs adjusting; and then don't get me started on the muscle/fat levels to ensure we're not engaging a Slenderman situation just for having lengthened the legs a wee bit. It's a whole thing; and then I have to craft a post about 'why do people walk around with heads too small and arms too short' and really......... Better to just stand on tippy toe and frolic like faeries. ((half serious, just half; but the half that's serious is serious.)) 2

People might want to look taller like an adult. I'm barefoot a lot (in both lives), and if heels, then mostly kitten, so, yes, I'd be hard to catch with Barbie feet 😂 But if I wore heels in SL for some event, yeah, I might very well forget to switch later, or took off the HUD for less lag, and too lazy to search for and put it on again, perhaps not even notice my Barbie feet for a while... ... Or they think that training forefoot walk in SL will make the transition to barefoot/zero heel shoes easier for them 😄

RLV chat command triggered via a gesture that adds (for Maitreya) an auto foot shaper object that will change the foot shape (duh) and then detach. Since I'm using RLV for this I also have the thing change my hover-height to match the foot shape just applied... that way I'm not hover above, or sinking into, the floor when the foot shape changes. It would be better if the body makes would give us a general chat command at least for the foot shape though. That's neat.
Carolyn Zapedzki Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Why do some people stand right in front of something in a shop blocking your view of said product? 2

Easy to do if you have choices. We have two grocery stores (plus a Wal-Mart that I refuse to go to for groceries -- or much else). They both have aisles wide enough for carts to pass each other, but not if someone has parked right spang in the middle or at an odd angle. 1
Fauve Aeon Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Because it’s cute, because we can, because we CBA to change them, because flat foot walks look less graceful. If you don’t like the way barefoot tippy-toe feet look - then use your flat ones? Why would you care what someone else does in their fashion choices though? Just derender them. I think my question of the day would be - why do they make tippy toe shaped sneakers and trainers?

For the people here that are RPing Barbies. Have you seen the Barbie movie? graceblakeley Posted September 14 Posted September 14 (edited) Ooh, that's a nice dress. Right-click on it to see what it is .. Can't get through the all-body c*u*m system and Sensational aynul accessories to see. Opens What is she wearing instead. Surely there's a time and place. Why do people wear those things permanently? Edited September 14 by graceblakeley didn't like the word aynul
