/me doesn't seem to be working for me, any advice?

Currently using firestorm, and I can't quite seem to get /me to work. Everytime I use it, nothing will show up in the chat, regardless of if it's an IM or Nearby Chat. Previously I was on a roleplay server where I was using an RP Tool to chat using /3, but I've since detached that tool and nothing seems to be working.

If it matters, I also recently updated to the newest version of Firestorm.

Click show channel selection, ensure your channel is set to zero.  I set mine to three in this instance to try to replicate your problem, and I found that I could not use emotes as well.
