Melian Catronis
I have a couple of pictures I'd like to possibly share here but they're snapshots within SL. I know there's a way to convert them so they can be saved to disk but I've never heard how. btw, have to admit after looking at the shadow/DOF thread my skills are nowhere near that, but I still like what I'm doing. Jo Yardley
I fear you have to save your snapshot to your computer first and convert it there. To save a picture open the snapshot in your inventory and click 'file' at the top of your screen and then 'save texture as', you can choose PNG or TGA. Then you need software to save it as JPG or whatever you like.
Peewee Musytari
If you are using v2 then you can only save to your HD, in a format other than TGA, by saving the snapshot straight to disk at the time that you take the pic. On some other viewers, such as Phoenix, you can open the snap on your screen & go to File > Save Texture as (PNG).. or Save Texture as (TGA).. If you have it saved on your HD as a TGA you will need to open it in Photoshop or similar program and resave it in a different format for uploading here. Six Igaly
If you are using V2 then you can choose to save your snapshot as JPEG, BMP or PNG when you use the option 'Save to my computer' in your snapshot window. If you want to save pics that already exists to your disk then it isTGA at default. So either you need photo editing software or a converter. There also are online image converters like this: http://www.coolutils.com/online/image-converter/ Otherwise google for image converter.
