Jo Yardley Posted June 27, 2011 Share Posted June 27, 2011 Ok, is it me or has group chat improved a LOT recently?Yes knocking on wood!Not that long ago we practically totally ignored our SL group, with over 700 members it was too laggy to chat with.But recently it SEEMS to be working a lot better... or have I been drinking too much virtual absinth again? Void Singer Posted June 27, 2011 Share Posted June 27, 2011 massively improved.... almost zero problems with things not sending or failing to initialize, lag is minimal to nil in most of my groups, and the only ones that I seem to experience any lag at all are massive groups with many participants. the biggest changes seem to have been made back end, but there was a small additional tweak to let regions brodcast to multiple avs, rather than handling them separately. I was really having issues with my chat messages being shuffled like cards and placed into the conversation at random. The results were often like this: Sam: Hey i love that new x men film!
