Account problems (Questions / recovery?)

I came back to SL just today and when I logged on well, my last name is different for one, instead of rhiadria it's now skytower. Then when I finally logged onto my account all my clothing from previous years were gone, my animations, friends, groups, hell even the body shape and skin tone, all changed, I come back with these, sets of default clothing looking things, and I'm told to select an avatar, I've played off and on for the last few years and usually I come back all my clothing and such is still intact. Now the real problem is I know for a fact I didn't get hacked or anything of the sort, it looks like I was set back to a starter character. For example, I have like 1 friend from back in the day, but nothing else remotely resembles what I had. Is there any issue that could've caused this, if so can I get my character recovered to what it used to be? I've been a resident for 2 years 11 months 1076 days apparently, least that's what the thing says.

'rhiadria' comes up as a complete blank in Search, not one single person named that which seems very strange for any Second Life last name if your spelling is correct. Was your first name Lynni before or is that changed too?

I've never come across what you describe before so I suggest you contact Support immediately.

Probably 'Rhiadra' which was a first name that was available in the latter part of 2008.

 

Nyll is right, however - nobody who can check the status of your account or make any fixes to it is likely to see your message here. You should file a support ticket, or call customer-service.

It's under Help > Contact Support and the link to create a case or just click this:

If you have Premium membership you could use Live Chat or submit a ticket under Technical Questions > Avatar Issues. If you have Basic, there isn't really a category for this so you may be out of luck getting LL support. I think your best shot is Account Issues > Viewer login issues and hope your problem intrigues support staff enough that they will look at it.

If you can log on to these forums, you can also log into SL. Everything is stored on the Linden Lab servers, so don't worry, your account and all your content are still there.
