im trying to log in, but it just keeps saying that second life cannot be accesed from this computer"

You didn't say if you logged on before with this computer, but if it is an older one, it is likely that it isn't powerful enough to run SL. You might try a third party viewer 1.x style or try the 1.23 Linden Lab viewer  as they use less resources. I can still log into SL on my old notebook using an old Imprudence viewer. It may be that your graphics card isn't up to running SL; that is frequently the weak link.

There are many reasons why you might get that message. You or the previous owner of that computer may have been suspended or banned. If it was you, you should have received an e-mail explaining why. Your account may also have been put on hold by mistake, or for an administrative reason -- maybe someone else has been using your account or that computer for phishing or other unauthorized purposes,. In any case, the only people who can take your account off hold again are at Linden Lab.
