Ikiro Tryce
Okay, so I am a COMPLETE newbie to Second Life. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. So, I am completely clueless. Please keep that in mind when responding to me. D:Well, I found the marketplace and I noticed all this free stuff. I got some of it and it's in my inventory, but it's in the "Objects" category and it doesn't go on my avatar like it should. I took a screenshot. I think I saw something about a sand box, but I don't know what that is...What do I have to do to actually use this stuff? o-oThanks to anyone who can help me. And sorry if this is a dumb question. Griffin Ceawlin
You need to unpack your items from boxes and then wear them. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Opening-boxes/ta-p/700185 ETA: The page at that link also has info about sandboxes and a link to one. leyna1488303852
Hi Ikiro, welcome to SL! And it's not a dumb question at all. A sandbox is one of the places where you have permission to open or "rez" the boxes that are in your objects folder. Drag the box to the ground, right click on the box, and in the menu that comes up click on "open". A window will pop up. At the bottom of that window click "copy to inventory", and your items will be put into your inventory and will be ready to wear or attach. It looks like you were in a sandbox when you took that snapshot, and that's where you can open your boxes.

It was working before but now It don't show me anything like unpack or open can any one help
Bree Giffen
Shinichi, so are you putting your object on the ground and when you right click on it you don't see 'open' ? Do you get any options when you right click on the object? Another way is to right click and 'edit' the object, then go into the 'contents' tab and manually drag everything into a new folder in your inventory. That's not the ideal way. Using 'Open' works most of the time.
Shinichi80
Thank you sis, but I already tried content but I couldn't do anything. It wouldn't work because It say I can't copy... Also The box is attached always to my right hand ... I suppose I will get unlock or open when I right click It but It don't ... The only thing I see I can use is edit
Griffin Ceawlin
Shinichi80 wrote: Also The box is attached always to my right hand ... There's your problem right there. Drag the box from your inventory to the ground to rez it. Right-click the box and choose Open. A window opens. If the box has many contents, it can take a moment. Click Copy To Inventory to transfer the box's contents to your inventory. If the box contains an outfit you'd like to wear immediately, select Copy and Wear instead. Once the items are copied, they appear in your inventory as a folder with the box's name. If you don't see it, click the Recent tab. When you have finished unpacking your box, please remember to either Delete it or Take it back to your inventory to avoid cluttering up the area with boxes.
