i have a person on the friends list that cant see or hear me why???

I have a freind onmy list that cant see or hear me or read my text i cant  tp him but i can see him and read his words when he send them to me what is the problem  i need help fast before  i lose him  thanks  very much

Get him to check if he has accidentally added you to his block/mute list.

I'd say he accidentally blocked you only for the fact that by sending you an IM, he would automatically lift that block so this is strange. Can you get a friend to IM him for you to explain what's happening until we sort this out? Your friend should ask him to check Preferences > Privacy > Block list to make sure you're not on it just in case and if you are to remove you. When you say he can't see you, can he see your name tag. The reason I ask is that if he's using Kirsten's viewer, blocking makes the person blocked invisible apart from name tag while Viewer 2 makes the person grey.

Can your friend see your text when you use local chat? Or is that not showing to him either?

Also, Phoenix has a derender function. Is your friend using Phoenix and accidently derendered and muted you? I don't know Phoenix, so I don't know if you are automatically muted when you are derendered. (Peewee?)

derendering doesn't automatically mute - but they work beautifully together! :matte-motes-evil:

mute gestures+mute+derender - it's like there were no gesturebators and i can actually enjoy a live show again =)
