my feet are missing!

can't seem to see me feet - so sad. they are there when i go into appearance but when I click ok - they are cut off at the ankles. Shoes or no shoes doesn't make a difference and I cleared cache. HELP!

Don't panic.  You're probably just wearing an alpha layer on your feet.  It's supposed to be there to hide your ugly feet if you're wearing shoes.  If you want to go barefoot, you have to remember to take it off.  Open inventory, go to the Worn tab, find the alpha layer, and detach it.  Or put your shoes back on.

This might help you with your search; alpha prims are also called invis prims (for invisible prims or some extrapolation of the word invisible).

@OP -- But an alpha layer is not an "alpha prim" or an invisiprim. The alpha layer is a clothing layer, like your tattoo layer, your underwear layer, and so forth, so don't get the two confused. You will recognize any prim in your inventory by the cube icon next to it. When you find an alpha layer in your inventory it will have an icon that looks like a T-shirt with a grid pattern on it. Invisiprims aren't used much any more, but it doesn't hurt to look anyway.
