Hello anyone I'm about to buy a gaming laptop the case is that it Has a matte Screen, please can you advice me if this is the good option cause I have the idea that mate screens have a more artificial and poor colors thank you

The screen surface has nothing to do with color accuracy. Matte screens are usually coated in a better anti glare material and as such reflect a lot less, at the downside of also blocking some of their own light so they’re not as bright as a comparative display with a glossy finish.

Glossy displays use a much thinner anti glare coating if they have one at all, so they don’t block much of their own light and can be much brighter, however they also still reflect light quite a lot and as such easily show reflections.

The effects on image quality with matte displays were much more of an issue 10+ years ago, the films used for matte displays now don’t affect much in terms of image quality. Especially not on higher resolution displays.

Thanks for the response, interesting to know that info.

Please could someone send a video showing second Life on mate screen ?

I guess that Mate is better for the eyes also.
