As I find regions and people I don't like, I'm always wishing I could never see them or their land again. I really wish when searching for places if you saw a place you don't like, you had the option to permanently hide it from ever seeing it in your search bar again. I'm so tired of seeing lewd or sexual things in my places search. However, simply turning off the ability to see adult regions is not good enough because it hides stores and other places that, yes are adult, but are not sexual or sex themed.

If anyone knows a way to hide these place, please let me know.

- make a folder "blacklisted" put the landmarks in it and don't go.
- put your maturity levels to General and don't go to others
- lock yourself in at yout parcel (or region) and don't go..

btw that last isn't very uncommon, i know of several people that they spend their time mainly on own home in SL, an djsut go to some favorite places)

script a HUD self teleporter

the HUD script adds destinations to its "banlist". Should you at a later date teleport to a destination on your banlist the HUD script will automatically teleport you home

Yes, and build a miniature of The Corn Field on your land for this HUD to drop you into.

Places change and may not continue to be so repellent to you, so blocking their SLURL might not be the best solution. You can change your settings to General and Moderate, which will block you from seeing most of the worst sims in search or being able to teleport to them. This may also block Adult sims and content that you don't find offensive, however.

This is pretty much my sl too at the moment. Hi5

Yeah, so far the advice given is not he most helpful, so  I'm assuming there is no effective way to not see certain things.

Sadly not seeing "Adult" regions locks out a lot of non-sexual sims. Some sims just have it as Adult so no child avatars etc are allowed in.
