Since 2008, Nihongo Tea Room strives to provide an educational, fun and interesting environment for Japanese learning and teaching.

Members have the chance to be part of a living community surrounded by others who are learning, teaching or simply interested in speaking Japanese with people from around the world.

Over the years, we have seen total beginners become fluent Japanese speakers simply by being active in our free community. Nihongo Tea Room is one of Second Life's long-term and ongoing stable projects that have helped many learn Japanese.
