Somebody else might make a suggestion if there are other options.
Lyssa Greymoon
If you install the Linux subsystem on your Chromebook you should theoretically be able to run a Linux SL viewer. Some people have gotten it to work, but it’s been a couple years since anyone posted about it.
AmeliaJ08
You will need to be running Linux on your Chromebook. https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/9145439?hl=en I cannot say from experience but you might have a better time with a more fully featured Linux distribution like Ubuntu (or many others) designed to run on Chromebook hardware as well, example: https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/install-ubuntu-on-chromebook#1-overview In general though you will be doing something that Chromebooks aren't really designed to do and while it is technically possible to run Firestorm on these machines it stands a good chance that it will not be a particularly easy or trouble free way of using SL not to mention the performance which may not be great given the hardware limitations. It might work but there's not really a replacement for a laptop running Windows, MacOS or full featured Linux for this purpose, unfortunately. Arthur Raleigh
Thanks for linking to my post. I can confirm that it does work, though graphics performance is not the greatest. Firestorm doesn't work any more, but Kokua installs in much the same way.
