When do listing enhancements for the marketplace go into effect?

When will the listing enhancement I purchased for one of my marketplace items go into effect?  My marketplace account was charged the fee a couple of days ago, but I still do not see my 'enhancement' on the main page where it should be.

Generally, if you buy an enhancement, it will show up within a few minute, 15 at the most. I say generally because for some categories that have alot of enhancement listings, they may be put into groups that show in a cycle. The main page is by far the worst example of this. I can imagine that the main page has thousands and thousands of people who have purchased enhancements for it. This means, that if you are 1 of them, you will need to sit there refreshing for hours before you will see your listing. It may seem like the best bang for your buck, but the end result is that few people will see your listing there. Choosing a category that is less populated will get more eyes on your product.
