There are many reasons why you might get that message. Yes, you may have been suspended or banned. If so, you should have received an e-mail explaining why. Your account may also have been put on hold by mistake, or for an administrative reason -- maybe someone else has been using your account or at least your IP address for phishing or other unauthorized purposes. In any case, the only people who can take your account off hold again are at Linden Lab. Read http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Why_is_my_account_on_hold%3F for more details and to find out what you can do next.

If someone in your house has done anything that caused a ban (which is not just some minor infraction...........LL bans very few accounts), you are probably not going to be able to get your computer unbanned (no matter how many support tickets you submit).  If it's just a suspension, it will evitually be lifted (typically in less than a week).  If it's an adminstrative hold (LL has blocked your access until some issue is taken care of.......like a report of an underage user.

The problem that someone else using the same computer for SL compounds your problem.  LL has no way to determine who's actually on the computer..........that account name does not tell them that.  When LL bans, suspends or places someone on administrative hold they do it by either banning the IP address or the computer hash up (hardware ban).  It's the only they can effectively block an account (banning an account by name does nothing if you have an alt.......LL knows that).  You should, of course, try to find out if it's a mistake (and no one else using your computer has done anything to cause the block).  Hopefully, that's exactly what happened and it will be resolved for you...........it takes time though.

Meanwhile, you might ask around to the others who use the computer for SL to see if maybe they recieved an email from LL explaining the reason.  If it turns that the ban was for cause and it was someone else, then you, unfortunately, are caught up in it as well............I'd be bending some pipes across someone's head if it were me (I'm joking, but I would be livid).

They probably asked you to upgrade to a premium account, seems to be their answer to most things lately for basic members. If you have a premium account, Live Chat get your computer unblocked in a few minutes.

Some basic members have had luck by calling the free billing number for this issue, but it is potluck because its not really their job and sometimes they also tell people to upgrade to premium, but its a free call so its worth a try. Otherwise I would suggest an email.
