Only if you take your earnings out of SL. As long as you earn L$ and don't convert them to USD and send the USD to RL, all you have earned are internal "game tokens", which are non-taxable.  I just leave any L$ I earn from sales in my account. Once a month, I convert what I need to help pay the monthly fees on my estate.

I am thinking about selling clothes in second life  and wondered if I will be taxed on the lindens I make.. if so is there a limit and is it in real dollars or sl dollars

next to the answer from Rolig if you use MP LL will take a selling fee from every sale.
No real taxing, but you won't get full price you list it for,
