The SLCF serves to promote cycle racing in Second Life   We hold races weekly, and provide free bikes to all participants.
Easy to get started, but harder to master than you might expect! Come and join us for some fun racing around the grid, it's all free and really accessible.

The SLCF was founded by Bill Jobs, and his passion got us all into this. Bill is absent from SL now, but we have re-made the group in order to carry on the Federation he started.

These are the bikes that Bill set up for us before his absence, so they are our only choices right now - BUT a new SLCF bike is being worked on! hopefully ready to race in the next week or so   It is made from parts of Bill's original bikes with some script updates to add ideas we had discussed in the past. And yes, that will bike be free too

We have a new race timer, fastest lap board, new headquarters, new roadside barriers....  and there is a new test bike to try out, and it's free!

Advance Notice : Cycle Racing Saturday 22 April, at 2pm SLT

We will race the Earth Day Alpine Epic !

The 22nd is Earth Day, where we consider how each of us can do our part to help our planet, to reduce our impact, make careful use of resources, and act against climate change.

What better way to highlight such a day than a pedal powered race !

The route will be the lap currently set out at our home track in Breakaway region, but in which direction?? You will just have to practice both directions

All welcome, the SLCF bike is free and the controls are very simple, so its all down to taking a good racing line!

The SL Coast Guard has a special bike event to support the RFL cancer charity!

On 13 May, the SLCF will play host to the SLCG Team Race Event

As there are a bunch of Brits among us, this will be a Coronation Special, racing around a new specially built London theme track the the Rebels have built!

This Saturday is United Nations World Bicycle Day

The bicycle is one of the greatest inventions of humanity, enabling travel, freedom, exercise, and is a super efficient form of travel. You can travel further and faster by bike than any other human powered method for the same energy.

So lets celebrate the bike with a race!
