Purchasing abandoned land?

There is a region on the mainland that is mostly abandoned that I've been watching. I've been seriously considering upping my land tier and making my way to full region ownership, and this region seems a really good place to start (and there are other reasons that I like it). Is there anyone at LL that I could contact and have them put the land up for sale for me?

You can contact Support and Submit a Ticket.  You will need to know the region name and have a SLurl to that land handy.  If you want only part of a piece of Abandoned Land, a photo or descriptive drawing showing what you want helps also.  It usually takes about a week or less if no one else has requested the same parcel.  Good luck and I hope you enjoy Mainland as much as we do!

Use the support ticket method described above, and be as specific as possible in your request. I have always received answers within a couple of days, even if it's to tell me that the land isn't yet available. Mostly, though, it's a quick response to let me know that the land has been set for sale to me. 

(Personally, I would not suggest contacting any Lindens directly, as there is a specific way of requesting abandoned land, and that is through the ticket system.)

Sorry about not mentioning that the approved way of getting support for land issues is by filing a support ticket. But still wanna give a shout out to Wendi because she does a great job of handling land issues.
