Olivia Smythe Posted March 8, 2023 Share Posted March 8, 2023 Ok so this has been going for weeks now ....makes me never want to use the marketplace again to find stuff SO i did 3 different searches and all gave me the EXACT same results ....3 different searches shouldnt do that .....more specifically it gave me things that didnt match my search criteria ....searching for something for reborn body or legacy bodies shouldnt give you the exact same results as a base avatar .....worse still i could NOT get any changes when i changed the settings from relevant to highest rated .....it gave me nothing but old content which didnt make sense now heres were it gets tricky i asked for a friend to search for same things i did ...they got different results depending on the viewers they used .....edge gave them one thing ....chrome another ....and firestorm another i use firestorm primarily but still all the viewers dont give the great results they once did .....anyone else having these issues??? 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

MP's search has been slow and clumsy ("broke") for a long time. They are finally fixing it with a more sophisticated search engine, but it's going to take some tuning to get right. AmeliaJ08 Posted March 8, 2023 Share Posted March 8, 2023 Yes, something has changed. You can mitigate it by using AND operators in your search, e.g: "Maitreya AND dress AND formal". For whateve reasons search terms separated by a space are being ignored leading to lots of irrelevant results. You can also use NOT and OR operators similarly to really fine tune a search. Yeah, a by-body search has been sorely needed for many years. Issue is the existing listings though, every single one would need to be reviewed and tagged for which body it supports. Could be done by a computer of course, supported bodies are usually listed in descriptions but there are also a few cases where bodies are specifically excluded in description which may lead to some false positives. Arduenn Schwartzman Posted March 8, 2023 Share Posted March 8, 2023 I've been having a MP revenue dip throughout the first week of March, until yesterday, Tuesday, when everything suddenly seemed fine. But today is again bad - at a level that is quite quite indicative of listing enhancements being borked. And now that I look at the ads on the front page: I'm seeing the same (mostly adult body enhancements) over and over again.
