How hard can it be?

If anyone can recommend a towel to me, that fits these criteria, I will be eternally grateful. Or at least a bit.

Wearble wrapped around the waist for modesty while bathing in public baths, fitted for Gianni. Bonus points for mod perms. If not, at least no auto-alpha that vanishes the entire upper leg needlessly. Colours... whatever but no silly designs. Got to be classy. Must actually fit.

My search so far:

1. An expensive product from a maker I know well. Demo fits very well, no need for alpha at all, yet it has built-in autoalpha that removes everything from the knee. No mod, can't remove script. I would buy it otherwise.

2. Cheap one, based on a full perm one I found the source of and sold by a texturer. Nice texture... fits like a torn rag. Clips all over, mesh tears with the slightest movement. The maker should be ashamed. I can fit clothing much better than this and I consider myself quite poor at it. At least I didn't waste money on the no-demo full perm item, and only wasted L$50 on the no-demo textured one. Never, ever, buy anything without a demo!!!

3. Lots that are no mod and have no demo.

4. A very expensive full perm product that I would have to create textures for myself, and there is no indication of that the UV map is like. I really can't be bothered... I just want to buy a towel for Zarquon's sake!

Buying the demo now, thank you.

Edit: that's pretty good! Fits well, no alpha (and not needed)... all I had to do was take the, erm, thingย ๐Ÿฅ’ out of my pocket :D

I guess I missed that in my search because my brain automatically glazed over at the price, but I'm happy to pay it for something that works.

Now to just persuade myself I don't need the fatpack (or do...)

It is lacking a can of whipped cream as an option, but still not a bad selection overall. You've already bought the fatpack, haven't you? :)

I was just about to (how did you guess???) but...

I noticed, just in the nick of time, an error in local chat from when I attached the demo: "unfortunately, there is currently no auto hide registered to this item..." which implies that the script is there and it should have an autoalpha, but they forgot to drop in the NC to configure it in the demo. So I guess that the full product does have it. It almost certainly won't be removeable if so.

Why is nothing ever simple?

@MrsSerenPlease would you be so kind as to check yours, and see it if does have an autohide script? I know it's the female version but I think the chances are if one has it, they all will. Never mind, see below. Sorry to have pinged you unnecessarily but let me thank you again for the recommendation.

I've messaged S&P's sales manager too, asking the question. I'll report back if I get an answer.

The plot thickens... sort of. The full product gives the error too, and thus doesn't hide anything even though it probably should. How do I know that, you ask? (you do, don't you?)

@Katherine HeartsongYes, guilty as charged, I bought the fatpack. Cheaper in store too (glad I thought to check).

The reason was that I got a quick answer from Salt's manager. The answer was "don't know" but I was promised an autohide-removed version when Salt gets chance to do it. That'll do me.

Good customer service got them a sale.

In fact, as I was writing this, I got the promised version without the autohide script. :does happy demon dance:

That is absolutely unbeatable customer service. (If they only made it mod perms, all of that wouldn't even have been necessary ;) )
