The easiest, fastest way to get L$ is to just buy them through the LindeX.  Skip lunch or save your coffee money for a day or two and you'll be able to buy enough L$ to live like a king for a while.  "Jobs" in SL don't generally pay well enough to give you more than pocket change.  The big ways to make L$ are to be a creator (scripter, 3D modeller, animator ...) or a performer (musician, DJ ..).  Those require a level of RL skill and software and a familiarity with the SL economy, just to get started.  You can also make some income as a landowner (through rental property basically), but that takes a startup investment and can be very risky, even if you have enough experience in SL to understand the culture.

this section isn't for employment but for questions about the money system.  

The answer in this section would be ; put a payment method to your account and buy the L$ you need.

I agree with Rolig and Alwin.  However, there is an employment section in the forums with job postings.  A lot do require at least a 30 day account.  Best of luck.
