Does a sim restart raise on_rez() event?

On a related note: Is there an event raised right before sim restart?

The context, of course, are in-world rezzed objects, not avatar attachments.

Nope, sim restarts only trigger the Changed event.

You get CHANGED_REGION_START in the changed event after the region restart. I don't think LSL scripts can tell, before a region restart, that one is coming.

My NPCs check for this because they have stall timers. Those need to be reset to avoid false error reports on every sim restart, and because they need to recheck what avatars are nearby.
