Crashing only in one sim

PC In question is running an 8 core multi-threaded cpu with an nvidia strix 1080 and 32 gigs of ram. Sl has never been an issue to run on, as a matter of fact it often runs 2 accounts simultaneously and plays other modern games at the same time. Crowded sims and clubs with 100 people.

However, one sim in particular is causing firestorm to crash, no other sim or time does this except when landing at the one club.

Error code reads as follows.

tried clearing the texture cache, and it still happens.

023-02-14T01:16:21Z ERROR #newview/llviewtexture.cpp(3910)LLViewerMediaTexture::addFace :

any input would be greatly appreciated.

Actual Firestorm crashes should be reported on the Firestorm JIRA. Filling out the form is a pain, but that's what the volunteer developers need.

That's a detailed enough error message that something can probably be done.

As a test try using the official LL viewer and see if it also crashes with the same error. If so then raise a JIRA with LL. If the LL viewer does not crash then the issue will be (probably) with FS and rase a JIRA with them.

Also, if you are not needing to use in world media on a prim try disabling that and see if it stops you crashing.

((many people think that clearing your cache will solve all sorts of problems - they are mostly wrong))

I went to Exhale. I didn't crash, but my word, there are a lot of high complexity avatars in that place. I saw several over 100,000 and one at 320,000.

When I arrived everyone was naked, and it took several minutes for the system to show their clothes. In some cases, the clothing never showed up...either they were actually naked or the rendering system was way overtaxed, either on SL's end or mine...and I have a high end graphics card, an Nvidia 380 ti.

Maybe Mike's problem is just an overworked graphics card?
