Username change

I understand how to change my "last name" so to speak, but I have a question.   I'm looking to make it a specific name, to match my SL partner.   Mine is currently Resident, and I would like mine to match his.  Do they ever recycle old names?  Or am I wanting to do something that probably can't happen?

LL has said they won't bring back old names, so sadly there's no hope in waiting to get lucky.

You could use Display Names instead, though. They're free, and you can change it once every week, so they're not permanent (or unique).

I suggest using Wulfie's method of the Display Names. But if both of you are dead set on having the same last name in your user names, you would BOTH have to change your user names, using a last name from the current available list.
