About moving a full private land to another place

About moving a private region to another location on the map... maybe a silly question. 

I know there is a fee ($150), but my question is ... Do I need to empty the land before linden moves the location? Or does the objects will just be returned, or even moved together?

You don't need to delete anything, nor anything will get returned. It just region's global position will be changed, the rest is going to stay as is.

On Osgrid I could download the region OAR "Open Simulator archive" with "save oar" and then change my region.ini coordinates to another place on the map and then "load oar." Seems very expensive $150 for this simple operation? Cost of living is effecting a lot of people at the moment so I myself have to think carefully about my spending!

LL is in business to make money.  Unless one wants to move a region to be next to a friend or whatever, one area is pretty much the same as any other.

LL is not using opensim software to run regions, so maybe think about that one too.
