About me information not showing

Is it me or is it normal that the "about me" information on the SL community profile is not showing up? Why would someone spend time on writing about themselves on the SL community profile if it is not visible for others to read? I tried to see my husband's profile (and vise versa), but nothing showed up other than the activity log. Is this intentional or not? Curious to know.

It doesn't show up for anyone and it has been like that forever

Oops, never mind.

You can only see the "about me" tab on your own profile when logged in, not others. Just tested as Greg and he couldn't see the "About me" tab on my profile.

I've made some great friends here via some of the thread conversations.

Yes, there are lots of negatives about these forums, but they do still allow me to connect with "forum friends".
